This course provides additional support and supplemental instruction for students who have met the prerequisites below. An introduction to important mathematical ideas and their impact on society, with a focus on problem solving skills that can be applied to all fields. Topics include proportional reasoning, modeling, and probability; may also include sets and Venn Diagrams, logic, finance, voting systems, graph theory, game theory, and linear programming. Offered spring and fall.
